China’s March steel exports beat expectations.
Steel exports in China reached 9.98 million tons in March, up 29.6% from the last year, rising 23% compared with last month. Steel exports in the first quarter registered 27.83 million tons, 7.9% of increase from the previous year.
Construction steel stock decreased.
The construction steel stockpiles widely used in steel processing totaled around 3.00 million tonnes according to the data from 139 mills. Compared with the last week, the country ‘s construction steel inventories dropped by 144000 tonnes, which is partly responsible for the steel price increase.
Steel price will keep rising.
